V-300 VFD Constant Pressure Water Supply Project for Municipal Park

A municipal ecological park in Romania covers a large area, equipped with landscape water circulation systems, fountain water supply systems and garden irrigation water pump groups. The original water supply system adopts traditional star-delta starting control mode, with fixed-speed pump operation. The water pressure fluctuates violently during peak and off-peak periods, resulting in unstable fountain effect, uneven irrigation water volume, and extremely high no-load power consumption of water pumps. In addition, frequent hard starting caused serious mechanical impact and shortened the service life of pump bodies and motors.

Our company provided a complete set of V-300 series vector frequency drive solutions for the park’s water supply system. The VFD supports closed-loop constant pressure automatic control, which can automatically adjust the motor operating frequency according to real-time water pressure changes, realizing intelligent stepless speed regulation of the water pump group. Equipped with Modbus remote communication function, the system realizes real-time data monitoring, automatic fault alarm and remote parameter adjustment, meeting the intelligent management requirements of municipal public facilities.

After the project was put into operation, the water pressure of the park’s circulating water and irrigation water supply remained stable without fluctuation. The pump group realizes soft start and soft stop, eliminating mechanical impact and current impact. The comprehensive energy-saving rate of the water supply system reaches 35%, and the equipment failure rate is reduced by 70%. The stable and intelligent water supply system greatly reduces the manual maintenance workload of the park management department, and has been highly recognized by the municipal engineering acceptance team.
